I love it !!!
I find the mix between metallic gear and living stuff absolutely superb.

It's a gear which stayed a long time in the sea ?

yeah.... it was kinda trippy. i was taking pictures at the "Glass Beach" @ Fort Bragg, CA, and it was getting really dark. i was walking around and just saw this lying there on the beach amongst all kinds of weird sealife and algae covered rocks. i didn't touch it to see if this was part of a bigger piece, and just took pictures of it just as it sat, half uncovered in the washed up sand.

so i dunno where it came from, or where it has been. ..... might be a part of a long lost ghost ship, ha ha.

i actually posted a close up of one of the anemone's... not one of the ones in this picture, but a different one i found the next morning. it was a little more than 1" in diameter:
