I headed over to the East of Hobart today so I could shoot with the sun. I watched Ossian Lindholm talking in the B&H Event Space this week and tried out some of his techniques - using 3 shot HDR + - 0.7 EV - using Photomatix in lieu of Photoshop 32 bit and shooting after the golden hour.
First shot is a little grainy - shot about 30 - 45 minutes after sunrise - used Shutter priority.
[1/50th, ISO 5000 (wanted to freeze the water), F22, Canon 5D III, Samyang 14mm - used PT Lens to remove moustache distortion, Photodiox CPL and 0.9 spft grad ND]
A shot of the Tasman Bride from a new vantage point for me.
[15 seconds, ISO 100), F22, Canon 5D III, Samyang 14mm - used PT Lens to remove moustache distortion, Photodiox CPL and 0.9 spft grad ND]
