I had an amazing season photographing Peregrine Falcons here in Northern New Jersey and Southern New York. I'm still in the process of going through my photographs but with the fall migration about to peak and eagle season right around the corner, it looks like I will be editing my falcon shots for a looong time :D

Here are my 5 edits so far:

1) Always happy to see an adult flying by...

2) …and perched
IMAGE: http://www.greggard.com/img/s7/v162/p522683168-5.jpg

3) I wonder, what would be your reaction when you saw this immature peregrine coming your way and filling the viewfinder?
IMAGE: http://www.greggard.com/img/s12/v180/p1064636426-5.jpg

4) Fledgling peregrine falcon on its second (if not the very first) day out of the nest:
IMAGE: http://www.greggard.com/img/s6/v145/p1062646335-5.jpg

5) and the signature shot of an adult wondering "what that clicking sound, coming from above, is?"
IMAGE: http://www.greggard.com/img/s6/v149/p640436885-5.jpg

If you are interested, larger size photographs and more of my falcon photography, can be seen here: http://www.greggard.com/falcons (external link)

That is one beautiful set Greg. Don't see many perched shots of these. Excellent IQ as well. Congrats on your summers work, top shelf shots!

Really great, Greg! Superb IQ, great light, beautiful all around. And that young one.....well they always look so goofy!
