My last purchase was a second hand 50D back in August. Next if I could somehow find the money would be a Sigma 150-600C, as the Tamzooka VC just doesn't work for my needs. Would love a monochrome only camera, but a rangefinder isn't particularly suitable for what I would want it for, not to mention the lack of a 600mm lens.

As I cannot foresee being able to buy the Sigma I guess it's back to hiring a long zoom for the couple of times a year I am likely to need one.

Well after posting the above last October I finally picked up the Sigma 150-600 C from WEX this lunch time. I know there is still daylight left, but due to my health issues it looks like I will have to wait till tomorrow to test it out. The council estate that I live on is not really the place to be pulling a camera and lens that obvious out and shooting with it. I'll be out down the park for a quick focus test, then on to the North Denes Heliport and hopefully grab a few heli shots before the last UK airshow of the year at the Shuttleworth Collection on Sunday.

My Last was a 5DIII, for my next the jury is still out, but will most likely be either a Sigma 150-600 Sport, or a Canon 70-200 2.8 IS mk II.

Last was the 6D with kit lens. Next will probably be 70-200 2.8 IS

Last 24-70 2.8 II

Next 70-200 2.8. II

Then I'm done..

Next - 100-400L II (I hope, waiting to hear back from Adorama on what they'll offer for my 70-200 f/4L IS and 400 f/5.6L).

My last purchase was a used 18-55 STM for my 70D. I needed something wider than my 24-105 STM for videos.
My next purchase may be a 10-18 STM for my 70D. I need something wider than my 18-55 STM for videos.

Maybe the 18-55 was a $70 mistake. I thought I was done with apsc. Video on the 70D makes it all worth it.
