Last, will be (it's to be a christmas present from my daughter, but guess who paid!) Sigma Canon USB dock for the 150-600. Next will be a Sekonic Studio Deluxe III L-398A Lightmeter, this will be another "christmas present" from daughter. A Sigma 18-35 f/1.8 A looks to be coming in over the horizon too, maybe in the new year. Although the last lens, the Sigma 150-600 C was in planning for two years, and went through multiple different models on the way, as new product was released.

Just deciding on what I want to bring to Africa..

Took a 300/2.8 to Africa and just now Costa Rica. It's a great choice of course depending on where in Alaska but for a place like the Timbavati Reserve adjacent to
the Kruger it was a great choice=lots of early morning wildlife hunts with light at a premium....I also had a 70-200 on another body in my lap for the things that
jump out at you.

Last was the 7d-II refurb.

It's hard to say what's next since I'm more camera gear collector than photographer. So, it probably won't be based on need or a desire for some capability that my current gear doesn't offer. It will probably be based on my seeing something shiny and deciding I want it.

Last: Fuji X-Pro1 with 18mm f/2 and 27mm f/2.8 lenses*. SD Card and Reader.
Next: If I like the Fuji system, probably a 35mm f/1.4 and if not then a Canon 50mm f/1.4.

* = I'd been really thinking about getting a Fuji and someone pointed me to a ridiculously good deal on the camera and two lenses - £650 - plus I had a bit of money come in. It'll almost certainly become my travel camera if not my main one with those two tiny lenses.

I'm in the exact same boat, looking at Fuji X-T1 and a lens or two for light weight travel/walk around. How are you liking the X-Pro1 so far?
