Last: Used 7D Mark II off ebay, looked and described to be very clean but no shutter count provided, was my first used gear purchase so I'm hoping it works out well.

Next: 7D2 battery grip (going for Canon brand this time for the matching surface and sealing) and aftermarket batteries and charger

Last: Model.

Next: Model.

.
.

Now to elaborate...

Last: Model for fashion shoot in NYC, along with the travel package to go to the Big Apple (bus, hotel, food). The model and I shot for the entire day. Her fee was commensurate with her level of experience. She's a fantastic model, intelligent, and very good business person. She is a full-time professional model.

Next: Model for studio fashion shoot locally. We will shoot for a few hours, again with a fee commensurate with her experience.

I do fashion photography. I actually didn't purchase any expensive photographic equipment last year. What I did was spend money to get the photos I want. Sometimes it's better to purchase experiences rather than things. Below is a photo from the NYC shoot. Enjoy!

My last purchase was a used 18-55 STM for my 70D. I needed something wider than my 24-105 STM for videos.
My next purchase may be a 10-18 STM for my 70D. I need something wider than my 18-55 STM for videos.

Maybe the 18-55 was a $70 mistake. I thought I was done with apsc. Video on the 70D makes it all worth it.

Next: Still deciding between upgrading 70D to 7D Mark II, or upgrading 70D & 6D to 5D Mark III, leaning 5DIII - today.

Sold off all my ef-s stuff.
Ended up keeping the 6D, ended up buying an 80D.

Bassat wrote in post #17986136 (external link)
Last purchase: 1DIII.

I like it.

Next purchase: most likely a 1DIV.

Sold the 1DIII. Bought the 1DIV. Currently evaluating 80D to replace the 1DIV.

Last: MR-14EX.
Next: Refurbished 5D3, 1DX, who knows?

Both of these are off the table, now. I need to lighten my gear.

I am almost as fickle as Talley! :) (He buys nicer toys than I do, though.)

Next? Currently leaning towards Sigma 24mm f/1.4 Art.

Next: nothing. :) :) :) :) :) :)

If you really do THINK you mean 'nothing', you have gone insane. Please seek help.
If you really DO mean nothing, there is no hope for you, it is too late.

G.A.S. FOREVER!!!!!! :) :)

Just typing this has instilled a huge desire to peruse the 'sale' threads for a 1DX!

Just got my hands on a 35mm 1.4 version one. I like it a lot. Next will probably be the 85L.

It ended up being both the Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II and Canon 5D MKIII

Now on to a wide angle and more primes.
