My family has had German Pointers for as long as I can remember (we'll call it 30+ years ), and we always have 2 to keep each other company. We recently lost one at 16 years old ... which is a good innings for a dog of that size. The remaining 5 year old GSP was lost without her old friend, barely leaving her bed most days.

So, it wasn't long before we found a new puppy. We didn't know how the 5 year-old was going to react. She would either be happy with a new little friend, or angry and territorial. Well, she's 6 months old now ... and I'll let the picture do the talking:

The "puppy" (who is now bigger than the 5 year old) is the one on top! They are "bestest buddies" :D. Would love to see more GSP (German Shorhaired Pointers) pics if anyone else has them?
