That part is a "locking pear ring"

You might add the term "rigging" to the google search to help avoid diamond rings.

I've never heard of one made of plastic, but there are now LOTS of plastic faky "carabiners" because people think having them hanging on their belt loop is cool.

"plastic carabiner" has results, but you'll need to find the right size.
