So I recently picked up a Canon T5i and I'm trying to learn how to use it. I've found that my passion is shooting live bands. This is one of my first shots that I thought was decent. Advice?

End of guitar in focus. Face, not so much. Nice feel to the image though.

He looks like the guy from Person of Interest.
As for shooting, your T5i will work up to about 3200 ISO without too much noise. You will want a lens that will let you get as much light as possible. I use my 85 1.8 a lot of the time becauase of the wide aperture. But I also have the ability really get high ISO out of my 6D.
You may need to get a 30/50 or something that goes 1.4 just to get enough light. Shutter speed can be pushed depending on the speed of movement of the band.
I have an album of live music in a dark venue here if you want to see the SS and ISO of the shots here:

I think you did quite well- and I'm actually surprised the picture isn't noisier than it is. I haven't kept up with the T5i's specs, but my T2i wouldn't have done this well.

Don't worry, this is so far from Harold's personality-that as long as he doesn't have Reece, Shaw, Fusco, Root, or Bear as his back up..I don't think Samaritan will figure it out. ;-)a
