This was in Charlotte this weekend, so thought I would post some pics. My first shots with my new Rebel XT. I used my 17-40L lens for the pics.

Whenever i see one of these or a C-5 for that matter I'm amazed that they can even get off the ground.

Great shots!

I agree, the big transports are something else when it comes to seeing them in action. Any of the heavies to be honest!

The bigger Antonov is the AN-225. One hell of a beast!

If in doubt, I shut up...

Gear: 40D, 12-24mm AT-X Pro, 17-85mm, Sigma 150mm Macro Sigma 100-300 F4, 550EX, other stuff that probably helps me on my way.

The 225 and its a beast, I have seen it, have also seen 7 124s on the ground together, that was impressive! Inside them is incredible, floor is tottaly titanium!

#1 & #3 are my fav shots (probably cause they are head on), but all the shots look great thanks to that gorgeous blue sky you captured. I bet you'll keep your camera by your side at work :)

My Canon can.. I just need to find out how

Thanks. The sky was tricky. The clouds kept covering up, so I was afraid that i was going to get a blown out sky. I have seen 2 124's here is Charlotte before. Very large aircraft. The aircraft are kneeled so they can be loaded.

Here is a shot from about 2 years ago. Taken with my OLY C-750:
