I've been lucky again this year to be graced by the presence of migrating Tennessee Warblers. You've got to look fast though as they're rarely around for more than a week!

I've included these first 2 images because they represent more typical sightings of these little guys in the field.....i.e. farther away than we'd like.

I was also lucky enough to get a couple of captures from closer range.

I hope you've enjoyed these images of Fall migrators and I hope to be able to bring more as the migration proceeds. Thanks for taking the time to check them out!

Great shots. I haven't seen any around here yet and you're only 60-70 miles away.

Very nice shots, Steve. FYI, the last one I saw here was on September 29th.

Greatly appreciated Dan and it's interesting you've seen none and I just saw another this AM. I don't get them every year, but at least 2 of the last 3 years they've stopped by to see me. Keep looking.

I knew you'd like these Al and thanks for the compliment. The first 2 images were captured about the same time you saw your last one. They've got a lot of ground to cover don't they.

Always appreciate your generous comments Rog. I can only assume their good looks come from great summers up north.

Awesome! Love that last shot especially....nice and sharp and isolated, although I also like the ones with the leaves to show some surroundings. But there's something about those leaves....hmmm....oh yeah, they're GREEN!!! You'll have to remind your maple trees what colour they're supposed to be this time of year!

Haha Ian, your powers of observation are very impressive! Not only did you get the right tree, but you got the color right too. I still have about 3 weeks before that tree turns pretty colors. Your comments, friendship, and observatory skills are all greatly appreciated. :)

Thank you Janet.....I'll pass your compliment on to them as well!

And now, I apparently have to retract my statement above about them only being around for a week. This one visited me all day yesterday, some 2 weeks after the above images, and certainly enjoyed the grapes that were set out for him and others.
