I have a confession.... I'm a box fiend, i love the packaging items come in, so when i bought my 2nd hand 1D mk III i was really saddened that it just came in a carrier bag! :(

So my question is this:
Does ANYONE on here have the original packaging that came with the camera? and would you part with it for a fee?

Keep an eye in the market section, These do come up in the for sale threads. You could post a want to buy, but beware of scammers, they love answering those ads.

In fact, I sold the complete set with charger and all accessories about a year ago :)

I did message a bunch of people on ebay that were selling the cam too, One wanted $800 for the box and he would throw the camera in for free, The other wanted $200 just for the box and user manual.

I have a deal for you.

Let's go 50 50 on a 7D mkII and you can keep the box. ;)

Think new Canon lenses are overpriced? Lots (and lots) of data will set you free!

Sorry. I am the same way as you. I have the box from every body, lens, and flash I have bought. I've even kept the box my Wacom tablet came in.

Reminds me of the song "Little Boxes" (theme of the show ""Weeds") :D

???? So what are you going to do with the box? I could see if you need a box to sell it, but I'm assuming you will just store away the box and it serves no purpose.

Would it make it worse if I told you the camera also came with a device that lets it run from the mains, and a chrome bolt that looks like it belongs in the neck of Dr. Frankenstein's monster?

yes..... yes it would..... and yes it's just to store as i feel as much a part of the buyer experience is having the box to go with the product.

Well, there are worse vices to have. :) Just keep checking ebay. sometimes someone sells the camera before they find the box, then they move and find the box. One will show up - google the camera and 'box only' and I bet you can get one for under $50 - it may take a couple months, but have faith.

Godox/Flashpoint r2 system, plus some canon stuff.
