It's not he best image, but I think I captured a satellite in this image. Taken on German Lake in MN, its southern MN looking south.

Yessir , I do believe that is a satellite . You can find out which one it is by going here : Heavens-Above (external link) . It's best you register and they don't share info so it's a good site . Mainly if you register you can put in your location (Lat. & Alt.) and you can search the data base on the ISS and other satellites , where located and exact time they come over . Pretty accurate down to the secs . There is a link even to see what time it is in your area so you can correctly set your watch so you can be watching . Iridium Flares (cellphone satellites) are best to watch for as they come over and go from dim to bright and back to dim . They are special photo opts . Check it out when you can .

I use the android App called ISS Detector on my phone. It shows the International Space Station as well as the Iridium (cell phone) satellites. It even lets you set calendar reminders so you can be on the look out for the fly bys. I thought my son was looney until he told me where to look down to the last few seconds of the ISS appearing. I would have thought it was just a plane flying by otherwise.
