Very cooperative subjects, unlike most "wildlife!" I hope you enjoy a few photos from the farm!

Enjoyed your pictures!! Especially the Jerseys. When I was a kid I was in 4-H,we had a few Jerseys. Raised veil calves to use up the milk. Anyway your pictures brought back some great memories. Thank you! Bill

Cows and sheep don't often get much response on here for some reason, but I love these. the fall setiings, coloured leaves and green fields make a beautiful pastoral scene. Nicely done.

These are nice; I especially like the hard stare in the first one :)

Thanks Ian. I know what you mean about the farm animals, they need their own section. Some of our cows have such personalities, though I rarely take pictures of them. They just don't belong in wildlife or the pets section!

Thanks Eric. That first shot was shared by a local TV station, on the air, and on Facebook. It was one of the favorites for the week, according to WCAX! It was the second cow photo that I sent to them from the same day.

Sandy. Nice series. How did you get the last one to pose?

Thanks Nick. Most of our cows are very friendly, so posing is not a problem. The problems occur when they try to lick my lens!

Thank you! I had quite a few shots with the birds flying through the herd, but the cows were also moving in those images.
