Love to get some feedback on this design

The idea is that the reverse side would have different photos to reflect the niche I am aiming at - i.e. portrait, commercial etc

To be brutally honest i dont like it. Unfortunately this type of design has been done to death, it had its heyday when film was fashionable. You logo is not really helping your branding, its not unique or memorable. Brush script and drop shadows is not advisable either. And for some strange reason the text of your card looks likes its a different resolution from you logo, almost like you typed over a jpeg background.

Sorry if I seem harsh.

The type for your business name shouldn't be a cramped script, it looks jammed together. The little film graphic is dated, unless you are using film. Even so its just in a strange spot, serving only to cramp the type. How important is the "a different perspective" to your branding? I'm just not sure it works here.

Afraid I agree with all FerozeK's comments. A script font does not a logo make and the film analogy is long out of date and dead.

The typefaces don't help either.

Agree with everybody. Deign looks dated and the fonts are terrible. Keep in mind if you are adding a border around your card, like your filmstrip. When they go and cut the cards, they may NOT cut it evenly. I would NOT add any line/border close to the edges.

My advice, use one of Moo's templates and modify for your needs. I hate designing my own stuff since I'm never happy.

This. I was very happy using one of theirs after trying to come up with my own design for a long time.

I can honestly say absolutely nothing positive about the design. It looks like something done in MS publisher in the early 90's (using clip art too).

Gonna have to agree with everyone else here.. Dont like it really. It looks like a design from 1994 or something.

The fonts, layout, color scheme seem old to me. You should check out Moo.com, they have really nice templates you can use.. Also you could have a card designed at 99designs.com.. and a logo but it will cost you some dough (worth it though).

Maybe a more up to date sleek logo.. simple modern font, nice complimentary color scheme..

Can be made quite simple business card, remove the decorations leave only the text, add a couple of lines below the name.
And change the font
