Hey everybody!

After thinking about it for a long time, last week I decided to open a showcase site. The origin of it was a need for a home for personal projects. We all shoot them, but don't always have a place to put them. And after talking with a few others. Client work does not always get the justice it deserves either. Often the client only wants one image. But you have a few others that are just as good. But nothing to do with them. So I decided to make a place for them.

As it is brand new its empty right now. I have also opened an instagram, twitter and a facebook page for it as well.

Another goal of it was to help SEO a little. Google loves links from relevant sites. So I will be adding links to the contributors site as well as the models, and HMU artists. Even the stylists. Any that are connected to the contribution.

There is no category submissions needed to stay within. So far, it is all model editorials. But any first class work will be considered.

With the editorials. Once a month or so I will be featuring a photographer. And also a model. I am also considering doing a "how to" every now and then to help get people inspired. So if you have a project you would like to share, please do so.

Please check it out. Follow the instagram and like the Facebook page.

My goal is to add at least one editorial a day. So I will need a lot of people submitting. Yes, you may submit more than one.

Thanks in advance for your support.

Any questions let me know! I want this to be a community project. Not just my own.

I'm really having a tough time reading your About and Submit pages. I would consider changing the font color. SEO-wise I wouldn't think 'The Latent Pixel | A Photography showcase of epic proportions' isn't going to see too much organic traffic. Your "logo" looks like you just found Photoshop and used every action on it. I know this is just a personal project, it just (the logo) looks amateur-ish to me.

Good luck with the project though! :)

I agree there will be very little at first. Exactly why the accompanying pages were started, to start creating some. Its not intended to be, not will it ever be, a general catch all site. The only people that will visit it, or any site like it, are those already interested.

Never though of the text as a logo. It was just the plain text that came with the template was even uglier. So I made something quickly.

I cant change the text color without buying the $30 "custom pack". If it catches on, I will do so. There are a bunch of things I will change when I do. But Im not going to sink the money into it until it seems to be gaining ground. When It does, there are a few other things I will buy for it to make it a bit smoother.

To answer a few notes here... No, it does not need to be model editorials. That is just what I do and who I know. So it was easy to start with that. Any first class work will be considered. not just model editorials.
