From canon direct so with a 1 year warranty. I'm hoping lots of people go buy it then decide to upgrade in a month or two when I'm ready to get one.

I just purchased a refurbished 60D through the CLP two weeks ago and the price was the same after the trade in allowance as the sale price. So after tax it was $490 and change. 1D X - 6D - 1D Mk III - Rokinon 8 fisheye - EF 17-40 f/4L - EF 50 f/1.8 Mk I - EF 85 f/1.8 - EF 70-200 f/4L - EF 80-200 f/2.8L Magic Drainpipe - EF 300mm f/2.8 IS L - EF 500mm f/4 IS L - EF 100-400L

I actually consider it better than new because I know someone has specifically tested and inspected each refurb unit and the warranty is the same. Taylor

I can vouch for all the praise that Canon gets for the quality of their refurbished products. My camera arrived basically brand new for all intents and purposes. Just starting to shoot with it and the difference in feel and action of this body vs my T3 is significant. How can you go wrong with these prices? What a great time to upgrade! I bought a 7D through Canon Refurb earlier in the year, and it was the first one that showed alot more wear than any other I had purchased. It had some scratches on the top LCD and had 29K on the shutter already. I wasn't extremely happy. To me, that shouldn't be part of the refurb program, that is squarely in the used market arena. It cannot be just checked out and freshened up with that much usage. Past Equipment | My Personal Gallery

Perhaps you did just that. I sold it on Amazon and actually made enough to go out for dinner. Past Equipment | My Personal Gallery
