I really like the image and, from a naturalist position, the fact that you clearly show the snakes head, tail and colors.

Superb shot, I love the wide angle environmental shot.

I don't know how you get so close to one to do these environmental shots. I rarely see Grass Snakes them and then they are not generally in the open.

This is a great angle and perspective of the snake. Surprised he stayed put for you to get so close for the shot.
