It was a clear and moonless night last night, and I managed to get some Milky Way photos for the first time! I was shooting with a T1i and Canon 10-22. These were shot at 10mm, 3.5 aperture, 3200 ISO, and 30 second shutter speed. Any feeddback is appreciated!

. Third image looks good , no FG clutter , however still alot of LP beyond the trees . Your on the right track , just try finding a FG without the LP (light pollution) .
