Does this category have room for a schroom?

Great shot Joel. I've been thinking that we should have a Mushroom thread, kind of like the "Here's Looking at You" thread that Liv2Trip started a while back.

RonnF, I took this picture a couple of years ago before I got my Canon DSLR. I used my Sony F717 five mega-pixel P&S camera. I checked the EXIF info for you and found these results:

Shutter: 1/20th (Handheld with my hand braced on the ground)
Aperture: F/6.3
Focal length: 9.7mm (The widest length on the camera)

I hope that answers some of your questions although I understand you'll have to formulate the differences between the Sony P&S and your DSLR.
