Hi all,
I have got big problem with my two Canon 430 EX II. I am trying to fire them wirelessly with Yongnuo YN 622C in HSS mode but they always fire in full power. I tried delete all custom functions on my cameras ( Canon 5D MIII and 6D) and on my flashes but problem continues. Manual setings HSS mode on flash or in menu on camera also dont work.

So, I am curious if Canon 430 EX II can work in HSS mode off camera (on camera there is no problem).

i would reset all of the YN-622 before worrying too much about anything else.

you will find a link to the ultimate 622 guide in the signature of the person who started this thread:

https://photography-on-the.net …/showthread.php?t=1386562

that document will tell you everything you need to know and more about the 622.

also, check the back of the flash when you change the power through the camera, the display should show the changes made.

Only other thing you might keep in mind is that if you are using HSS in already bright conditions, it might be hard to tell if the flashes are changing power. Do the test in darkness and the flash power changing should be obvious.

No, any changes on flash display. When I try to change zoom or power through menu of camera nothing is happened on flash display.

User Manual: Hold down the <PUSH> button and turn the flash head.
If the flash coverage is set automatically, the flash coverage will be
fixed to 50mm. The LCD panel will also display <Zoom - -mm>.
