Tripod Collar for 200F2.8L

Heya,

Looking for a collar for my 200F2.8L (v1).

Anyone know if this one would fit?

Or will take any recommendations that are known to fit well.

Given the size and weight of the 200 F2.8 I would have thought you would be better off mounting the camera on the tripod rather than the lens. Also any collar that fits will be VERY close to the camera body and may cause fouling issues, especially if you use a grip.
Just a thought.

I would go with the Vello version. I have one for my 70-200 f4 IS in white (also available in black), and it's fit and finish are excellent.

EDIT: It looks like you have the original Canon 200mm 2.8 L, but it also uses the same tripod collar as the MK II, so I think the one listed above should work well.
