I have just got back from work and popped the lens onto my 40D for the 1st time and have taken a couple quick test shots hand held.

I LOVE THIS LENS! These shots are not good but i can see the potential of this great lens!!

If only i could find someone to trade me an 85 for my 70-200L...Im in love with primes, and i like the exercise i need to do in order to focus :)

I had to use this lens when my hired lens for the evening stopped working :( ended up with a whole series of portrait shots mid fight, superb lens!
