Todays shot is aiming for a very warm, colorful, natural light portrait, and I think it came out pretty well.

love the processing on this, too

TweakMDS wrote in post #12328056 (external link)
I agree with an earlier poster about this processing, would you mind sharing your PP workflow and settings? I have some recent shots that might look really good with this...

Thanks guys, I shoot RAW so first I use Adobe Camera RAW and I correct Exposure, WB, if necessary. I love the ''clarity'' and ''fill light'' as well, I use them quite often. Then I send to CS5 and the real changes happen in a plugin called Alien Skin Exposure 3. There are many presets that you can use and adjust they way you want. That's all :)

thank you for sharing your process, that is very kind of you!
this lens really is superior, at this point, I can't imagine spending the extra $$$ on the 1.2 when the 1.8 is so sweet.

Very COOL! And the old clothesline with clothespins for a focal point is a classic way to do it. ;)

cool, i been playing around with exposure 3, i need learn how to adjust the presets, they give a nice effect, but 7 out of 10 times the preset is to strong for my taste.

AS mentioned before, lighting is key, PP is also important, and knowing your camera of course.

Sure, but you can fade the effect. I seldom use the presets on 100% opacity. Keep on using it, needs time to know how it works best for you.

Here's some more Alien Skin processing from the B&W presets
