I sold my 50mm f/1.4 for my 85mm f/1.8, I prefer it in every way. Worst case scenario, I have to take a few more steps back outside to get the framing I want :p

I still have my 50 1.4, but don't use it nearly as often since I bought the 85 1.8. The 85 is a more versatile lens, IMO. The only thing the 50 1.4 does better is bokeh.

I hardly used the 85 when I had a crop, the 30 and 50 were used far more so I sold the 85. Now I'm on full frame the 50 is hardly off the camera and I bought another 85 and use it a lot outdoors.

Man, I can not get my 85 to be accurate on my 5DII. Ive tried MA and it still seems so much sharper on my other body. Thankfully, I have 70-200 2.8 I can use for anything above 2.8 but sometimes its nice to have a the lighter setup.

On the other hand, its crazy good on my T1i so I dont want to send it for adjustment. It makes a perfect combo with that body for a backup setup.

I've never seen anyone with hair *on* their nose. I, sadly, don't have that much hair on my head. :p

Yup. 16:9 or something similar to what you see in film/movies. Cinematic also means getting a photo to look like something in movies.
