Really wondering if I should get rid of the 24-70mm and go with the prime lineup. So tempting. Dependsnon your needs. The only time i miss a zoom is event shooting (receptions,etc.). However, I find that I cans use my 35 pretty effectivelly for event coverage. 2 x 5Dc, XE-1

I get my best shots shooting cars with it. I'm thinking I would be happy with a 17-40mm for cars and the 85mm for anything else. Plus I wouldn't come out of pocket. Hmmmm
