WOW . Nice. A good job showing talent is more important than a new camera.

Thanks very much! I'll give the credit to the lovely models :)

My 3rd time to buy this lens. It's really amazing :)

Tweaked in LR (I got carried away on the sharpening lol)

how do you find the CA on 85mm, LR4 doesn't remove the CA completely

You know, my first copy of this lens was terrible with the CA. But I have recently picked up another and it seems to be great. I haven't had really any to speak of, even in the super high contrast areas you would think would be the worst. In a shot like the one you have posted that doesn't have a lot of purple in it I used to just pull the purple and magenta back and it would take it out.

I agree that some copies are worse than others. My very first one was quite noticeable, and even the second copy would show lots of CA, though at that time it was prior to LR4.

My third and newest (its only a few months old) copy is the best by far, even before I apply corrections in LR4. That being said, whatever CA I do find, LR4 wipes it out.

When you say that LR4 wipes out the CA, does it do it automatically through the lens profile or do you remove it manually with the sliders?

I'm sure he uses the automatic lens profiles. Just my guess though.

I was never very impressed with this lens on my 60D. I recently bought a 5Dc and wow, this lens is phenomenal on it. I cannot believe the difference.

^I feel exactly the same about mine on my new 5D II.

Here's the first shot I took on my 5D II with the 85 1.8:

I agree, this lens really shines on the 5d series cameras.
