gave the 85 its first real workout today... (Holy Purple Fringing Batman! Luckily Lr4 can handle it but.... .... Holy Purple Fringing! :eek: )

Here's Zeus, more stuff later... Zeus has been exceedingly patient (well, no) while I went through 200+ shots and editing so time he gets a deserved walk ;)

Thank-you and yes the 60D. I heard this lens has good AF so I put it through the ringer today.

I'm simply not accustomed to shooting at f/1.8 and having a resulting (egad) "1/5000th shutter speed out in the sun. Thus - a high percentage of my early pet photo-shoot today turned out over-exposed - duh... but shot in raw so I could save them fortunately.

It was silly of me to use f/1.8 as Zeus ran towards me - I'll try again at f/4 and see if my keeper rate is higher

I was astonished in spring this year when my 15-85 IS captured similar action shots (Zeus Running towards me) with amazing results. I love the split-second expressions of him when racing towards me... good times

Photobucket mashed the colors up a bit - original was way more natural. Seems to have uped the contrast and reds/yellows?
