Don't forget to post pictures once you bought it  Your response alerted me to my mistake, I meant 50mm 1.4 as they are similarly priced. The question is in quality of bokeh and field of view. 50 1.4 is a bit softer and really doesent become sharp before 2.8 and obviously it has wider fov. "High life on low budget"
