Well done Sandy just love the closeup on the Downy, the puffed up attitude and details make a fine shot but all are very nice indeed!

Nice shots, Sandy. We had a few purple finches move through, but none here right now.

Haha, made me look! Wonderful shots all, Sandy. I have the Chickadees and the woodpeckers and a gajillion blue jays right now. And raccoons.

Ok who taught you the bait and switch, lol Very nice Sandy, Great that we all go to the yard this time of year. I guess its because we put the seed out and they all come.

Thanks Bret, they will never be as good as yours, but it's fun to try!

Thanks Al. The finches have been here all summer and fall. The females certainly outnumber the males though.

Thanks Ian. Glad you stopped in! I have never had as many woodpeckers as I have this year. I put out two suet feeders and they are always busy. The feeders are emptied or removed at night because of raccoons. Bears are around too...

Thanks Carol. The birds always plant sunflowers in the same spot! This year I ended up with quite a few of the larger varieties of sunflowers.

Thanks Jeff. I learned from the master, though not really a bait and switch...just a new species! My birds are spoiled year round, I just make sure to put out small amounts of seed at a time so that it gets cleaned up by the end of the day.

Thanks Brad. The colors are from the fall foliage...not much of it left now!

A very nice set, Sandy. Sounds like your feathered friends get the royal treatment around there. I should try to remember to plant a couple of giant SF's next spring.
