Hello all, finally got my setup complete for doing macro and I wanted to check to see if I was calculating my magnification correctly. I'm using a Canon T5i, sensor width of 22.3mm and (by the picture) I can fill the frame with 8mm on a ruler.
So 22.3 / 8 = 2.7875
Would this be correct?

the 100mm Macro has 1:1 lifesize. This means something the same size as your sensor or film fills the image.

Your only option for greater magnification than 1:1 would be extension tubes, or perhaps the Canon MP-E 65mm f/2.8 1-5X

Yes the 100mm macro, 62mm of extension tubes and a 1.4x converter.
