So I'm down to my last ten sheets of Smooth Pearl, and I now find out that they've gone out of business, and all of the remaining 13x19 stock seems to have been snatched up. Does anyone have any suggestions for the most similar paper in terms of finish, weight, and overall look?

I've got sampler packs from Red River and Moab that I used back when I originally made the decision to use ISP as my paper of choice, and I recall not being nearly as happy with their papers. If I don't have the same prints on ISP to compare to, they look really good. But I still really prefer the Ilford.

I see that Red River has released new versions of some of their papers, including the Ultra Satin Pro 4.0 - how does it compare to v2.0, which I have?

Anyone? I haven't found anything conclusive elsewhere online.

Hahnemuhle also has a sample pack with a wide variety of papers including Fine Art Pearl and Photo Rag Pearl. I'm not saying that they will have a paper that matches ISP (because I don't know that paper), but they'd certainly be another manufacturer to check out.

Also, doing some reading it sounds like some are thinking that Tecco (acquired by Ilford awhile back) will be producing Ilford papers under the Tecco brand. Problem will be having no retailers in Canada selling the stuff.

I wonder if this one is ISP: http://www.ephotozine.com …uality-inkjet-paper-25702 (external link)
