I took many behind the scenes photos at my niece's wedding. I am looking to upgrade my DVD making software so I can make the new couple a first class DVD.

The software I currently use is pretty darn easy to create a nice DVD but it does degrade the photo quality.

Therefore I am looking to upgrade my software with a budget of $200 max.

Lastly, I was also thinking of buying a Bluray burner if the new software doesn't degrade the image quality. I would invest in a Blueray burner only if I knew the DVD software created excellent picture quality.

Is Proshow Gold a good product in my budget range?

Thanks.

Proshow Gold is good, and flexible. The DVD output quality is so/so, but the mp4 (ie blu ray) and exe show quality is excellent. Get the trial, output to mp4, I think you'll be happy with it. You don't need Proshow Producer.
