Is this kit worth buying? (Product photography, Phottix)

I came across this deal from Phottix while looking for studio lights / soft boxes etc. I'd mostly be doing product photography and was wondering if it's good or bad. Is there something similar but better that I can get in the same amount of money? ($700)

Probably a good kit, but you may be able to get away with only hot lights and no strobes, depending on your style and needs.

Phottix makes pretty good quality stuff. Considerably better than Cowboy Studio.
