Yes, Everything is behind mesh or fencing. They do offer private photography sessions where they bring the raptors out of the cages, but this was just a weekend visit with my family. The mesh and fencing created quite the challenge! hayath wrote in post #17237042 The caracara stands out in the set! A closeup of the king vulture would've been awesome They were walking the vulture back to his enclosure after a scheduled feeding. I got scolded for stepping up to take this picture! Now how do you get a private session, or a non-mesh session ![]() I think a group POTN meet at the CRC would be fantastic---esp for noob (me) who could use tips. Thanks! I will do a little research on private photo sessions and hopefully post something up here soon. Mark

I found the webpage for the recent event .... For now, we’ve got the 2015 Spring & Fall photo wilds tentatively scheduled for the dates below: Saturday, March 21st Sunday, March 22nd Rain dates for above: Saturday, March 28th & Sunday, March 29th Saturday, April 11th Sunday, April 12th Rain date for above: Sunday, April 19th Saturday, October 17th Sunday, October 18th Rain dates for above: Saturday, October 24th & Sunday, October 25th Photographers can buy a one day pass or a weekend pass (which is the better deal). We bring out some different birds each day, as well as some that come out both days but are perched in different areas with different backdrops. Each day also includes a flight portion so that photographers have the opportunity to try and get some action shots. We also have a GoWild! benefit auction each year where photographers are invited to submit up to 3 framed and matted photos in our contest; these photos are auctioned at the event to raise money for our center. This year, GoWild! is this coming Saturday, November 1st. Mark
