Facebook publish service is listed on the left panel, together with Hard Drive, Flikr, Picasaweb, etc. However, when I click on Export button, it offers Export To dropdown menu only to Email, Hard Drive, CD/DVD, and Picasaweb.

How can I add Facebook (and Flikr for that matter) to this list?

You need to "authorize" the publish service on Facebook. Don't remember exactly how to do that so really can't help you that way.

I did have a unresolvable problem with the built in Facebook publishing so I added Jeffery's Plugin and use it instead. I now like his version better. If you wish to try his, here is a link: http://regex.info …ightroom-goodies/facebook (external link) The link tells you how to load his version. It does require you to register in a way that costs $1.00 or more if you wish to donate more but other than that, it was simple to install.

Edit: Minimum cost is one cent $.01, not one dollar.

It looks like I am "authorized", and still Facebook is not on the drop down menu. But thanks for the hint on Jeffrey's plug-in, I will give it a try. His Picasaweb plug-in works fine.

If I'm understanding you correctly, you are looking for FB under the export dialog. With the built-in FB publishing service, you interact with it from the "Publish Services" section on the left side of LR.

For example, right-click Facebook and you'll get a menu to create a collection, smart collection, etc with extra fields for the FB gallery name and other info. You treat it like a regular LR collection/smart collection.

To expand on JC's comment above, you create the collection and either drag photos to that folder or you can add selected photos at the time of the collection creation. Once you have photos in the collection, you will see that the publish button on the bottom of the left panel will light up to be used. If you re-edit photos in the collection you will have to republish the shots as it does not automatically do that. Yo technically don't export photos to Flickr/Facebook or whatever other publishing service you set up, you actually publish them.
Hopefully that explains what you need to do.

Oh, yes. I forgot about the "publish" button step. Thanks for the reminder.

Thanks guys. I was expecting to see Facebook in the drop down menu. I will try all your instructions tonight.
