I have noticed quite a few threads (and not just here) about 6D focus errors with fast primes.
Having been through the agony of mis-focus and weeks of AF fine tuning with my 85 1.2 and my 24-105, I can say, it was the body all along.

I swapped my 6D within the 28 day return period for a new body and now both lenses hit focus every time with no adjustment.

Just my experience but I'd like to hear from others if they have the same issues.

I've had mine for about 6 months, very reliable focus. AMFA with ML all of my are at most +/-1 or 2

I have quite a different experience with my 6D. I am dead-on with focus almost all the time with no adjustments whatsoever.

No problems with mine either. . . Not to say that I discredit your experience.

Copy variance. Some are bad. Most are good. You just got a bad one :-/ Sounds like you got it resolved pretty easily though.

I use my 6D with complete confidence. It is dead-nuts accurate wide open with every lens I own. And it can do it in the dark. No AF complaints from me.

Mine misses sometimes, but it's because of the guy pushing the buttons.

I think you will find that this is a very common problem. it's just that no many are willing to admit it.

I've never had an issue with the focusing on my 6D.
