Give me your thoughts. This is an old dam on a small trout stream. It was a 90 second exposure

I find the wind blurred greenery distracting.

I'm with Martin, great potential, but the blurring in the leaves draws the eye to that spot.

Falls and water look great. Along with the 90 second exposure, take another and boost your ISO high enough to freeze the motion of the trees/leaves then blend them together.

Yes it was a little windy that day. I was playing around with the big stopper. I only have Lightroom so the blending is out for now. I'll have to wait for mother nature to give me a calm day:)

Perhaps if you take a "normal" image as well as the long exposure you would have the option of blending the silky and sharp areas as you need.

I think the main problem is the subject isn't very interesting and then you add the distractions of the branches and moving trees and it's just not appealing.
