Smells to me like another model is coming out. I doubt that Canon's plan to keep their marketshare was to have the 20D rebadged but stay relatively unchaged for 36 months straight.

I'm definitely not going to buy it but was curious if anyone has seen the price of the 30D. I can't find it anywhere.

Looking at the PMA site it looks like there might be another camera. No idea though.

so canon has a 30D. Great, true spot metering and 100K shutter are worth something of value. uses the same grip as 20D. Now that is brilliant.

Is this all they are releasing with a new ef-s lens? Where is digic 3. My new 1Dsmk3?

Some one please tell me there is more to come!

Dante, there will definately be more.

I heard that Canon is going to come out with some updated really cool stuff.......I just don't know when...although I would bet my statement to be 100% correct. I just don't think it will be at PMA this year. I think Photokina in the Fall.....long time to wait.......but don't let your head explode. I think Canon's line right now is better than anyone elses. 2 Full Frames, an 8.5 FPS Mark IIN and the 30D which as I compare these to Nikons current models, I see that Canon has them beat with every camera. OK, OK, the D200 has 2 more megapixels......but try to shoot it in low light with high ISO, in my opinion the 30D still has it beat. Slap me if I'm wrong.....why does Canon need to come out with anything new when they have everything beat now!!!

JBF
Canon 7D, Canon 1D Mark IV, Canon 24-105L f/4, Canon 35L 1.4, Canon 200L f/2.8, Canon 70-200L II IS f/2.8, Canon 300L f/2.8IS, 580ex Flash, 430ex Flash, 1.4X Converter. Bunch of other crap! I want the new 500mmL and the 200L f/2.0
