OS X anti-spinning-wheel-of-death utility

I had been seeing the spinning-wheel-of-death a bit too much on one of our older G4's running OS X and found MacJanitor (external link).

Seems to clean out the cobwebs from the UNIX portion of the OS and things are running much better now. If you are having similar symptoms, this may be worth your while.

thanks...i two have been seeing that a lot, but mostly on my three g3 imacs i use for fun when im feeling nostalgic...im not so sure theres hope for them,

There is hope....got a G3 iMac that runs Quickbooks. And I keep around a PM 8500/150 incase the scanning station goes down! Also have a "Headless Horseman"(LCD monitor broke off) PowerBook G4 as a secondary RIP.

Old computers may not be the fastest but they are good little soldiers.

yeah i use mine mostly for book keepin as well, and moddin to some extent. im currently lookin for some g3 ibooks to play with, the pretty colored clamshell ones, but i digress. i ran that app on all of the up and running macs, so we'll see how it goes. thanks
