I just got a Tamron 70-200 f2.8 Di VC a little while ago and hadn't had much of a chance to play with it yet. The only 'model' who'd cooperate with me was our stray cat who adopted us last year. These shots are with my T4i, 200 mm, f2.8, 1/500, ISO 200 (I wanted to see what the lens could do fully zoomed and wide open - so far I'm impressed).

I'm impressed too, very nice! Rescued pets are special pets! My house is full of them!

Lens works well. The 2nd tier brand lenses are getting a lot better.

Lovely clarity on those eyes! I wish that one whisker on frame right wasn't curled over; that's the problem I always have shooting my boy. Beautiful cat though!
