I've got a PC with a Gigabyte GTX660 (LINK (external link)) and have been looking at getting some new monitors. I'm going for best "bang for the buck" and not even going to consider Eizo's or any other "top of the line" displays at my level. I'm contemplating on getting two of the Dell U2714HM's. (LINK (external link))

I'm currently using a 47" LED TV and 22" old Dell LCD both at 1920x1080. I'm reading online that some people are having problems if they don't use the DisplayPort that you can't get native resolution, only 1080. Some are saying Dual Link DVI works... Can anyone verify that video will run 2 of these monitors at full res?

I'm also open to some monitor discussion, but it seems this is a very popular choice.

Your current GPU can actually run up to 4 monitors at a max resolution of 4096 x 2160 and will easily run two 1080p monitors.

I currently use an Asus PB278Q (external link) which I've had for several months now and I love it. The colours and accuracy is great straight of the box and being 1440p, it's great for photo editing and shows much more detail than a 1080p monitor. It can also be used in a portait orientation which can actually come in handy for editing portrait orientated images.

I' m not sure where you're located but the monitor costs around US$450 but maybe a little less. This monitor is great for productivity too, I use it for uni work and I can have 3 full sized word documents open side by side.

One thing I also like about the Asus is that it has been out for several years now which means any manufacturing issues have been fixed. If you look at Amazon reviews for years closer to the initial release, quite a few people had issues with backlight bleeding but in more recent reviews it seems to be much better and much more consistent.

I hope I've helped and if you have any more questions let me know!
