Not the best quality i'm afraid, as i wasn't planning on birding, so didn't have the 400 with me.. Doh! This was taken with a 135mm + 1.4x extender. Very heavily cropped.

Since you have checked image editing OK I would suggest cropping somewhat like this to reduce the eye-catching foreground water and bringing more interest to the bird itself.
