I was given a telescope (for my kids from their grandparents) and I decided to buy the adapters and 2x barlow lens to do some moon photography. The only way I can seem to get decent sharpness and detail is 5 or so bracketed shots (1/60 - 1/15) as I cant adjust F-stop, just shutter and ISO (50)

How do I get better focus across the frame? It is sharp on the craters (left), but not the opposite edge (right).

I used Machinery HDR and LR to process.

Any help to improve would be great.

Nice mate but way over done on the processing. Of course if you like it that's what matters.

I know it looks over processed, but that is from it being an HDR, and I lifted the shadows in LR, and all of the detail in the opposite side from the craters popped out.

A proper processed HDR will look natural. Most people over process HDR also. They don't have to look surreal
