Using a 5D MK III, per page 128 of the manual, with auto ISO set you can set a minimum shutter speed (only to 250
) and in P or AV mode the camera will endeavor to keep the shutter speed at 250, by changing the ISO. However, if the scene becomes too dark, and the maximum set ISO is reached, the camera will allow the shutter speed to drop below the specified minimum (without the shutter speed flashing in the viewfinder
).
Does anyone know if Magic Lantern allows;
1) A minimum shutter speed faster than 1/250 to be set?
2) Provide any kind of warning the minimum shutter speed setting is not being met?
3) For anyone that owns the recently released 7D MK II, is the minimum shutter speed setting handled handled in the same manner as the 5D MK III?
