These are not cropped or hardly cropped.
They are of 2 different Owls ( hopefully a breeding pair) that visit my house
a couple nights a week. I think Im going to build a nest box for them to live in.
I have a massive packrat nest right outside my backyard that I leave undisturbed so the
Owls can hopefully eat them.

The large branch this one is on is about 6" diameter.

Showing its nictating membranes and an evil look.

This is the other owl. Not the one from the thick branch. 220mm uncropped.

Outstanding work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We recently (well 3 weeks ago) put up 3 barred owl boxes. Nothing yet. Looks like you a friend here to photograph for maybe quite some time.

On some smaller branches. Im not sure which one this one is.

It's the first one. The dark stripes on their foreheads are different enough that you can ID the two owls from those.

Nice work on these Owls. Good luck getting them to stay if you put a box up.

Very nice Jeremy. Good luck keeping them around for rodent control.

Gorgeous bird(s) and excellent captures of them Jeremy!
I think #2 looks like it's in a Halloween costume :)
Good luck with the housing project too.
