I own two Canon speedlights, a 580EXII and a 430EXII. I want to get Yongnuo RF 603II triggers to use them manually off camera. (The triggers I have used for a few years no longer sync properly.) Since the triggers come in sets of two, I was planning on buying a YN manual flash to use, so that I can add a third light into setups if I want.

However, in another thread in this section, I saw a link to a set of 2 YN 560III flashes and a YN 560TX wireless manual flash controller. If I get this + one set of triggers, I believe I should be able to use 4 flashes off camera. The huge benefit to this is that I could control the manual power level of a flash that I put inside my softbox without opening up the softbox to change it on the actual flash.

What I'm not clear on from my reading is whether I can use the YN 560TX to set off the two YN flashes AND the two Canon flashes (with YN RF603II triggers on them) all at the same time, so I can trigger 4 flashes at once? I read that the YN 560 TX is compatible with both the YN flashes and any flash with RF 603II triggers, but I can't find any answer about whether it will work with both at the same time. (I do realize that even if I can trigger all 4 flashes at once, it would only be the 2 YN flashes that I could set the power level on without walking over to the flash itself.)

If anyone has tried this or knows for sure if this setup will work, I would appreciate your knowledge. Thanks.

I don't use Yn triggers but yes that will work - 4 off cam lights all syncing - 2 remotely adjustable.

You'll want to hear from a Yn user.

Extra thought: if you want Groups (but still no remote M adjustment) for the 2 Canon Speedlites, consider Yn-605s. Could be useful for metering - or - just turning one or both Canon unit(s) off, remotely (& possibly fractionally better max usable sync speed, too). Good luck.
