My partner and I are struggling with how to develop a professional method of presenting photos to our clients. We are mainly talking about portrait sessions. We do not have a studio, so most presentations are done at the clients home or occasionally in my home.

I would like to hear how others do their presentations.

Pre-session or post-session?

Are you selling prints, albums, canvases or digital files?

I would think that these items may influence how you do things and how others could offer suggestions for your dilemma.

Thats the same for us. If I were selling albums I would have a sample or two made up same with a canvas sample or two (make the size you want to sell, go large so the customer can see it on their wall). If you do prints I would pick my favorite one or two shots and have that pre printed to show them, how could they say no if sitting right there on their coffee table.
