Ok, so i'm getting increasingly frustrated with this software. I shoot a fair few burst shots... especially when shooting in the skate park.... I currently have C1 set up as a catalogue with projects containing albums.... So i import the shots into the relevant album and all is great.... EXCEPT.....

when i decide i have a bad shot i want to get rid of it... not remove it from the album.... completely remove it from my computer.

I right click in the 'viewer' window and select 'trash' i then go over to the left and look under catalog collections in trash and there is nothing.....

HOW DO I DELETE A PHOTO!??!?

sorry for the caps but i'm getting so wound up with it!.

When I set up a catalog, import files into it (import them IN PLACE) and then trash one of the files by right-clicking on the image and selecting "Trash" a dialog window opens that gives the choices (see screenshot). Choosing to send the image file to the System Trash does just that.

If you set up the catalog to store the files in the catalog, the trashed images get sent to the Catalog trash not the System trash. Is your C1 v8 up to date?
