Looking for a 4K monitor. I've seen the Dell 27" UP2715K and the Eizo EV3237. I'm not sure whether to buy a first generation 4K device if there are bugs to be worked out with them, but in the event that I do, is Eizo still the better device compared to Dell?

It would be hard to say for sure without actually having both and testing don't you think? The Dell isn't even out yet. I will say that the Dell looks good on paper but if it has a glossy screen I'd disregard it right there for that.

What's the screen type on the Eizo?

The Eizo lists it as a "non glare" which generally means matte. I've dealt with glossy screens and I won't go back to one. From what I've seen of the Dell it's a gloss panel with an "anti reflective coating". How that will handle glare I don't know.
